Jessica Washington is a consultant with Aya Enterprises and is a multi-faceted real estate professional with expertise in capital markets, multifamily brokerage, and retail leasing. Since joining Aya in 2020, she has sourced over $15M in debt and equity with $25M+ in the pipeline. Prior to that, she started her commercial real estate career doing retail landlord and tenant representation for Ripco Real Estate in Northern New Jersey. Jessica is a 2019 New York City Fellow in Project REAP, a national organization advocating for minority advancement within the commercial real estate industry and currently serves as a Local Planning Director for the Northeast region. In 2020, she participated in the inaugural Open Access program, an intensive fellowship aiming to get minorities exposed to community development finance with a focus on deals using Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC), and Historic Tax Credits (HTC). Jessica received her Bachelor's degree in Communications form the University of Maryland, College Park and her MBA from San Diego State University. She is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc and host of her own podcast entitled "Pretty Girls Love Real Estate", available on all major podcast streaming platforms and Youtube.
